Calico Basin Wedding | Lena & Matt

One year ago, I was emailing Miss Dang about her plans for an intimate destination wedding at Calico Basin here in Las Vegas, Nevada. This weekend finally arrived and proved to match our couple’s excitement with sunny skies and not a cloud to be seen. With the love and support of friends and family, Lena and Matt said their nuptials with Red Rocks as their background. As the sunset and sky turned from cheery blue to shades of pink, our bride and groom took a precious moment to soak in the views, and get some snuggles under Lena’s veil. As the temperatures dropped (too rapidly for my comfort!), we headed to a delicious and educational reception at Lawry’s Steakhouse, where I learned to proper way to eat prime rib from the groom; try a little of everything on your plate in the same bite! And what’s a Vegas wedding without an after wedding session at the Bellagio Fountains? Lena and Matt wrapped up their first night as Man and Wife to romantic music and one spectacular aquatic show!

I can’t wait to hear stories about your 6 am sushi tasting in Japan and your snorkeling the Philippines! Congrats you two!
