My family is so important to me. I grew up in a family of six. All of my siblings are two years apart, except my twin who is seven minutes older than me. We are just as close now as we were as children.
The family photo on the left is actually my brother, his wife and two children. My heart is filled with an overwhelming love seeing my niece and nephew laugh and giggle with their parents. I can’t believe they are growing so fast. These pictures are my biggest treasure. I may not see my family as frequently as I’d like, but they are always with me when I pass their pictures hanging in my living room.
Family photos are an heirloom. I have one picture of my grandparent’s surrounded by their seven children. My mom has long hair and all of my aunts and uncles are wearing bell bottoms and corduroys. I have a picture from my Dad and his siblings at my aunt’s wedding. My dad has a curly 80’s fro and a thick mustache. All the rage in those days. I can’t imagine not having these pictures to show my kids!
Don’t wait another year to get family photos. So much changes in just one year, especially if you have children. These are the times you want to remember and hold dear always.
